Darkness, a colab? and more!I was in the beginning with darkness

Darkness covered the face of the earth

All earth was formless and empty

darkness was the surface of the deep,

MY SPIRIT hovers over the waters

I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness

I saw that the light was good, andseparated the light from the darkness.
I made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night, and to separate light from darkness.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

I raised by parents who cared enough to say, ‘It’s too hot’ or ‘it’s too cold’ or.. “Come out of the rain, now, del’jean!”

big grin~ For years, that is how I lived, too.
Dad also said things like, ”Sit under the tree, deljean”. Or ”Go sit on the ground and let it heal you”.

Right or wrong, dad loved me and that is how his Indian and Celtic parents raised him!
After years of pretending to be a ‘city gal’, I found the outdoors, again!
In a time of great loneliness and confusion,I looked up one day, and I was surrounded by a local pagan community! I wanted to run! Alcoholics, addicts, perversion of every kind…… (Just like the rest of the world….)*******************************

When I looked closely, I also found this particular group of people were loving and ‘accepting of me’, even while I suffered from PTSD. (a most ‘unlovely‘ condition to be around, by the way) I was ENOURAGED to be outside for the first time in years!
ONCE AGAIN, this time as an adult, I learned to camp out, to dance in the rain, to drum in the out doors, to make fire pits and watch the fire warm up the entire area! Yes, pagan occult practices, witchcraft, etcetra won’t open the gates to heaven, for sure.*******************************

In fact quite the opposite…. BUT:
Abraham, our father, was born in Egypt! Moses was born in Egypt!*******************************

So let’s be very careful not to ‘throw the baby out with the bath water’~~*******************************

(Or is that: ‘bathe them with the dishes?)

God knows why I had to take that walk into my family heritage. I did uncover my roots.
Just like the tree seeks for water underground.
(He had an easier way, I’m sure.)*******************************

Mr. Disappointment and Respect Drive

Respect Drive is a long

long two way street with many

inhabitants.

It stretches for miles.

Some say it’s from here and into the

next plane.

Yes, many say they aren’t sure if it

ever ends.

Other’s say it paves the way into a

new city.

Many tenants live happily on the

street of Respect Drive.

Male, female, single and married

young and old alike reside in the

closest of proximity.

Nothing can budge them from this

Street, either.

Once a family chooses to move on

Respect Drive

nothing could make them want to look

at other properties.

Most find dividends living on Respect

Drive

far outweigh all of the monies

combined from the

heritage of providences, abroad.

For instance, Mr. Disappointment

though he lives by himself

found that living on Respect Drive

keeps him safe.

Though he can see in close proximity

the corner of Discouragement and

Depression

He always walks past Grace Garage

and never gets any further.

No, he never makes it to the end of

the road of Respect Drive or any

further than Grace Garage, to discover

if there is another place for him

there.

Mr. and Mrs. Struggle have the corner

lot on

Respect Drive and Sowing Seeds

Court.

They know if they hold onto their land

a little longer

Blessings Boulevard is going to

merge.

Of course, this is what they planned

all along!

Mr. Greed and His wife, NeverEnough

own two lots with the biggest house

built

smack dab in the

middle of Respect Drive.

Some find themselves traveling down

their driveway.

But when the road narrows and they

find it gets difficult to pass

they backtrack to find Respect Drive,

once again.

Though Mr. Greed and Never Enough

reside comfortably together

others realize that must be

their personal lot to bear

and leave them pretty much alone.

Luckily, Mercy Market

ALWAYS has it’s doors open

There is such a crowd

most never notice

Mr. Greed & His wife, Never Enough.

Mrs. TrudyTruth and Mr. MichaelMercy

have a small adequate place.

They met and have been together

from the beginning.

Once they laid eyes on each other

that was it!

When the doors opened

to purchase a home on Respect Drive

they were so excited!

All realize there’s is a marriage

made in Heaven!

Then we caught Mr. Righteousness

and Ms. Peace kissing in broad

daylight!

We are so happy for them!

Glorious Gates in front of the

MerryMall

open wide for all to

rejoice over the uniting

of two who so greatly deserve one

another.

All live side by side on Respect Drive.

There are a few lots open.

The price is right, too.

Though some only want to stay for the

night

Why Make Another Username?

Why have another username for blogging? There are many reasons.

I won’t elaborate however, since we are all imaginative people!

Mine is simple.

I’ve been blogging on several sites for 3 years, and I also have a domain name under the name, Glimmeringstar.

Why did I want to blog under another name, Chiunicorn?

That’s the real question. At the time, I was going through changes. I ‘blog’ my way through changes and didn’t want to be identified with the ‘witchy psychic’ me until I had worked through them.

Now that I’ve worked through all of that.

I’m ready to publish!

My new blog name is Glimmeringstar. Old name, old domain for a completely new person!

If you were to check out the domain or google Glimmeringstar then, you’ll find I was quite the character!

Now I’ve found true enlightenment and I have a need to pass it on.

I know, that’s what all of us enlightened ones have to say.

Right?

I am passing on the truth.

From Glimmeringstar, to Chiunicorn, back to Glimmeringstar.

Here’s hoping I am intelligent enough to make the change!

Another topic, for a later date is spell check. Ever wonder why spell check can’t spell blog, blogging, bloggers, or username? Ha!

Look for me in a couple of weeks or sooner. I will return when I’ve finished converting , er, oops, adding a new domain name.

Busy weeks ahead for all.

Changing user names on blog accounts!

So strange to be locked into only one name.

This is a conversation on HOW to unlock that name within WordPress.

I’m going to give it a try!

This will be the 1st blog.

Now to work on number 2!

Hello guys, i wanted to change the username of my blog. I suddenly dont feel like displaying my username on my blog URL and displaying my username anywhere. I read about the steps below here, but will that change my username for sure? I do not have 2 blogs. i have only one blog and one username. If i go thru these steps, will it change my username even in the blog URL ?!?! as usernames are used in wordpress in blog URL too, i mean if my current username if ‘Q’, and blog is www.Q.wordpress.com , and if by followinf these steps i change my username to ‘Z’, will my blog become www.Z.wordpress.com? Coz tzt is wat i want? My name to change in both username and blog too. This is what i read and should i go thru thse steps??? will tat help? :-
(1.) In your second blog go to => Dashboard => Options => Privacy and temporarily make the blog private. Check the spot for __

I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose

and click “update options” to save the change.

(2.) Log out of wordpress.com

(3.) Sign up for wordpress.com using a different email address, and using a new username. Choose a new username that is not the same as any of your blog names. Do not create a blog, just a username.

(4.) After you finish responding to all the confirmation emails and whatnot, log out of wordpress.com

(5.) Now log in as your original username and go to your private blog’s => Dashboard => Users.

(6.) Add your newly created user as an Administrator.

Set the Role of checked users to: Administrator. Type the e-mail address of your newly created user WordPress.com user to add them to your blog.

(7.) Next log out and then log in to your private blog as your new user.

(8.) Go to => Dashboard => Users and delete your original username from the blog.

Remove checked users.

(9.) Go to => Dashboard => Options => Privacy and make the blog public again.

__ I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com.
__ I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors

These are exactly the instructions you will need to follow.

Just be aware that you can’t use the same email address when you sign up with a different username.

You could start a second blog using your original login though. You can then define that as your primary blog. For example, my main site here is cornell.wordpress.com but I also run theminiblog.wordpress.com with the same login information. Both are completely separate and you can only see links through to each as I have given that information in the blogs.
